Disciples of Jesus Christ have been waiting and watching for his return since the day he ascended to heaven almost two thousand years ago. Jesus promised that he would come back for us, his bride, and take us home that we might live with him forever in the new heavens and new earth. His promises to return are encouraging. They fill us with hope and a longing to see him face-to-face. We will continue to keep watch because we do not know the day or the hour of his return (Matthew 25.13).

Theme: Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3.20).
